I might instead go for left keyboard with throttle and stick on right.įor me personally I go with center stick and while it's too tight a fir for my preferences I can technically have everything installed for flight, driving, and fps at once. Not sure if I could get the stick there instead of the stick. I mount the keyboard and the shifter on the right. My plan at this point is to get a volair sim and heavily modify it, but If somebody made something that would fit my use case out of the box, I would be willing to spend more on that. Rseat N1: Expensive, Seat doesn't recline, very small mouse mat area, would need to swap stick and shifter. seat doesn't recline, HOTAS mounts seem like an afterthought. Rseat RS1: No space for regular keyboard and mouse arrangement. Looks like I can only mount 1 accessory on the right side so I would have to be swapping my stick and shifter all the time. Obutto R3volution: Keyboard tray looks flimsy and unstable. Also, the Monitors look like they would be placed quite far away. Volair Sim: Current Top Pick, but the wheel base looks like it won't be stable and can't be adjusted as much as I would like. I've looked at a couple cockpits already, but none of them seem to quite do what I want. If it won't be possible to have all of these peripherals in position at the same time, I'd be willing to compromise with a cockpit that would let me rotate the peripherals that I'm not currently using out of the way, as long as I don't have to get any tools out to do that. I want something that can mount everything I would need for any game simultaneously, so that when I want to stop racing and start flying, all I have to do is move my hands from the wheel to my HOTAS.
